We tell our children to “Never Forget” the Holocaust. We implore them to contemplate the horror of six million lives, futures and dreams extinguished by hatred, so they will create a better, more humane world. Bais Menachem’s Six Million Penny Project aims to reflect the enormity of the Six Million. Cent by cent, the community of Denver - with the help of students, business sponsors and those who care - will collect 6,000,000 pennies in time for Holocaust Memorial Day in April of 2007.
